Wedsaro ("we," "our," or "us") provides a modern digital wedding invitation platform available at https://www.wedsaro.com. This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, process, store, and protect your information when you browse our website, authenticate using Google Sign-In, design and publish an invitation website, or RSVP as an invited guest.
Google user data summary
Wedsaro is operated by Webdit Solution. When a user selects Google Sign-In, Wedsaro receives only the basic OpenID Connect identity data that Google provides for the requested openid, email, and profile scopes: the Google account email address, a stable account identifier, display name, and profile photo when available. Wedsaro does not request Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google API data.
We use this data only to create and secure the Wedsaro account, associate invitations and payment records with that account, show the account name or photo in the signed-in dashboard, provide account support, and send service emails requested by the account holder. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or profiling, or use it to train AI models. The email address may be processed by Supabase for authentication and by Resend only to deliver Wedsaro transactional emails. It is protected in transit with HTTPS/TLS and in storage with access controls. Users can revoke Google access and request deletion at any time using the instructions below.
1. Application Purpose & Service Overview
Wedsaro is a specialized digital wedding invitation website builder designed for Kerala celebrations (Muslim, Christian, and Hindu traditions) and NRI couples worldwide.
Our application allows couples to design an interactive wedding invitation website featuring ceremony timelines, photo galleries, Google Maps GPS directions, and digital RSVP tracking. Guests access the couple's custom wedding page via a single link shared through WhatsApp, email, or messaging platforms without needing to download any app or create an account.
2. Google User Data & OAuth Authentication Policy
Wedsaro supports Google Sign-In to provide a secure, seamless authentication experience for couples creating and managing their wedding invitations. This section specifically outlines our handling of data received through Google OAuth APIs.
A. Google User Data Accessed:
When you choose to authenticate with Google, we request access only to non-sensitive identification scopes:
- Email Address (
.../auth/userinfo.email): Used as your unique account identifier to link your wedding invitations, send critical order receipts, and allow passwordless login. - Basic Profile Information (
.../auth/userinfo.profile&openid): Includes your display name and profile picture to personalize your dashboard and account header.
B. How Google User Data Is Used:
- To securely verify your identity and manage your authenticated session.
- To associate your wedding invitation designs, custom URLs, guest lists, and payment receipts with your account.
- To provide customer support when you reach out regarding your wedding invitation.
- We NEVER use Google user data for advertising, marketing profiling, or commercial resale.
C. No Sale or Transfer of Google User Data:
Wedsaro does not sell, rent, license, or trade your Google user data to any third party, broker, or advertiser. Supabase processes the account identity and session for authentication and database hosting. Resend processes the account email address only when Wedsaro sends a requested transactional email, such as an expiry or deletion notice. These providers act only as service providers for Wedsaro and may not use Google user data for their own advertising, profiling, or resale.
D. Google API Limited Use Disclosure:
Wedsaro's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
E. Revocation & Deletion of Google Data:
You have full control over your Google credentials:
- Revoke Access: You can disconnect Wedsaro from your Google Account at any time via your Google Account Security Permissions.
- Permanent Account Deletion: You can request complete deletion of your account, wedding invitations, and all associated Google profile data by emailing support@wedsaro.com. We will permanently delete your records within 30 days.
3. Information Provided for Wedding Invitations
When you create a wedding invitation on Wedsaro, you provide content intended for your guests to view:
- Couple Details: Names of the bride and groom, parents' names, wedding date, and personal love story or welcome message.
- Event Schedules & Venues: Dates, ceremony timings, venue names, and Google Maps venue coordinates.
- Media: Photographs, engagement portraits, and optional background audio selected by the couple.
This information is published exclusively on your custom invitation page URL (e.g. wedsaro.com/your-names) so your invited friends and family can access your celebration details.
4. Guest RSVP Information
Invited guests may respond using the digital RSVP form on the couple's wedding website. When a guest submits an RSVP, we collect:
- Guest name and attending party size (number of adults and children).
- Attendance status (Attending or Regretfully Cannot Attend).
- Optional dietary preferences and congratulatory blessing messages.
RSVP data is accessible solely to the verified couple via their private dashboard. Guest RSVP information is never indexed publicly, never shared with third-party advertisers, and is used strictly for wedding headcount planning.
5. Payment Processing & Financial Security
Payments on Wedsaro are handled through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway.
Wedsaro does not process, store, or view complete credit card numbers, debit card details, CVVs, or net banking passwords. All transaction data is encrypted and handled directly by authorized banking partners in compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines.
6. Data Storage, Hosting & Automatic Deletion
All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols and stored securely in cloud data centers provided by Supabase and Cloudflare.
Post-Wedding Retention Policy: Standard Wedsaro wedding websites remain active and accessible until two (2) months after your wedding date. Couples have the option to extend hosting for additional years. At the conclusion of the hosting period, the invitation website and associated guest records are scheduled for automated database erasure.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Regardless of your location, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information and invitation data we hold about you.
- Request correction of any inaccurate or outdated information.
- Request permanent deletion of your account, invitation website, and guest records.
- Revoke consent for Google OAuth authentication at any time.
